Clayton has touched the lives of so many people in many different ways. He will be missed dearly by all those who had the opportunity to get to know him. As this blog reveals he is loved by many people from all over the world. I am sorry I am not in the country as I would pay my respests in person-we miss you Clay

My deepest condolences to Ruth, Zoe, Jasmine and the rest of Clayton's family. Clayton your pursuit of excellence, competative spirit and desire to help others will be greatly missed but hopefully emulated by those of us lucky enough to know you.

I was so sorry to hear that Clayton has crossed his last finish line on Friday. We have lost a terrific person and athlete. He was a talented, fierce competitor who always had time to mentor the new injuries and show them a new world that opened for them. We have truly lost one of the best! Today's newspaper article is a very nice tribute to a great man!

My thoughts and prayers go out to Ruth, Jasmine and Zoe. Clay was always so proud of his "girls" talking to me often of his daughter's accomplishments. He was a proud father and husband.

My deepest sympathies go to Clayton's family. Clayton was a truly inspirational person, as everyone who has been involved with wheelchair sports in the province can attest to. He will be missed by many.

My thoughts are with Clayton's family, and the "family" of wheelchair sport in which he was truly an icon. Clayton was well-loved, deeply respected, and hugely influential. We owe him a great debt.

Tragic News in hearing of Clayton's passing. He was a tremendous athlete and a quality human being. I offer my heartfelt condolences to Clayton's family.

Oh what a sad sad day in the World of Wheelchair Sports. Clayton I can only hope and pray you knew how much the World around you had been cheering you in your final Sprint to the Finsih Line in at least this lifetime !!!! 25+ years we have known each other, raced and laughed together, now I am left on this planet to only cry and cry for my/our great loss. You will alway be #1 in our minds, a true pioneer to our Sport and dear dear friend. We will vow to keep your memory alive all around the World. We will Love you forever ..... You now can truely Fly since you have grown your wings ........ XOXOXO Cheers to you !!!!!
